Iron Bowl name

I'm sad to report that a local Huntsville radio station had a trivia contest recently asking why the game is called the Iron Bowl. Someone got it correct, but I think others missed it first. --Lkseitz (talk) 22:18, 23 November 2017 (PST)

• In a Facebook post I saw today, someone said that Shug Jordan first used the name in 1964. If we can document that, it definitely belongs in the article, and we could even consider renaming matchups that weren't commonly known by that name at the time. --Dystopos (talk) 09:38, 26 November 2017 (PST)
