Returns to the Alabama

ATOS had Erwin return more than once to accompany silent films in the 1980s, IIRC. I need to go through my files to see if I can find dates. My mother provided his transportation around town on at least one occasion. --Lkseitz (talk) 06:17, 5 September 2017 (PDT)

  • I thought an article about a guy named Lee from Huntsville who was associated with the Alabama might get your attention. :) --Dystopos (talk) 06:39, 5 September 2017 (PDT)
    • Any article related to the Alabama will get my attention. Assuming I recognize the name. Someone I actually met all the more so. (And yeah, especially if he happens to be named Lee.) --Lkseitz (talk) 06:22, 6 September 2017 (PDT)

My files are incomplete, but here are some of the silent films the Alabama Chapter of ATOS had Erwin accompany at the Alabama Theatre. This is probably a bit much to add to the actual article, so I just added a sentence mentioning them as a group. I'm obviously missing the one from 1985.

  • July 12, 1987 - "The Eagle" (starring Rudolph Valentino)
  • August 7, 1987 - "The Kid" (starring Charlie Chaplin)
  • March 26–27 1988 - "King of Kings" (starring H. B. Warner & Dorothy Cumming; directed by Cecil B. De Mille)
  • March 24, 1991 - "King of Kings" (see above)
