  • There's a sign visible on Google Streetview calling this "GIÁO XỨ ĐỨC MẸ LA VANG / OUR LADY OF LA VANG CATHOLIC CHURCH", but bhmdiocese.org refers to it as "Our Lady of La Vang-Vietnamese Parish @ St. John Bosco Church." ...What's the current status of these two congregations? Is Bosco no longer? Is La Vang a church? Just curious. (Also intrigued by Father Vu's Twitter following "@vudatnation") --Dystopos (talk) 16:45, 30 November 2023 (CST)
    • I just edited St John Bosco Catholic Church to clarify. As I understand it church building has not been formally renamed and rededicated in honor of a different saint (I assume because of fine points of Catholic politics). "St. John Bosco" is still carved in stone above the door. But English services conducted as John Bosco ended when the Salesians pulled out in the early 2000s. --David Bains (talk) 06:06, 1 December 2023 (CST)
