Total Skin & Beauty

Total Skin & Beauty, formerly Dermatology Associates, is a dermatology and aesthetic medicine clinic and spa located in Ash Place at 2100 16th Avenue South. It is headed by CEO Jennifer Cork.

The practice was founded in 1977 by Gary Monheit as a solo practice. It has since grown with partner physicians James Krell, Melanie Appell and A. Michele Hill.

In addition to its main offices on Southside, the practice provides services at Norwood Clinic Plaza in Fultondale, Premier Urgent & Family Care in Trussville, and UAB Medical West Medical Center in Bessemer.

In October 2020 the business leased 25,000 square feet in the Woodward Building for a new spa location, called Total on 1st.
