The SuperJazz Big Band (formerly UAB SuperJazz) is a jazz orchestra based in Birmingham. SuperJazz was the first performing ensemble connected with the Music Department of the University of Alabama at Birmingham. After a 20+ year association with UAB, ties were severed and SuperJazz adopted John Carroll Catholic High School as its home base.
