Alamo Drafthouse Birmingham is a 9-screen full-service cinema and restaurant operated by Alamo Drafthouse Cinema of Austin, Texas. The first Alamo Drafthouse was opened by Tim and Karrie League in Austin in 1997. The chain, which went through Chapter 11 bankruptcy restructuring in 2021, has about 40 locations in the United States.

In February 2022 the chain announced that it would operate a 50,000 square-foot Alamo Drafthouse Birmingham anchoring the redeveloped Powell Steam Plant at 1800 Powell Avenue in Birmingham's Parkside District. The 9-screen cinema is expected to open in spring 2024.
