Station No. 6

Birmingham Fire Station No. 6, located at 1500 3rd Avenue North, is home to the Birmingham Fire and Rescue Service's Fire Prevention Bureau as well as Fire Alarm, commonly known as dispatch. The station was relocated from 317 15th Street North. The former location is still standing and is now the Old Firehouse Shelter.
