Robert Hill Custom Tailors

Robert Hill Custom Tailors is a tailoring business owned by Robert Hill. He opened at 2205 3rd Avenue North on August 3, 1983.

Hill began working as a tailor in 1961 and apprenticed in Chicago and Birmingham before opening his own shop. Among Hill's clients have been Richard Arrington, Gene Stallings and Paul Finebaum.

The shop's building was acquired in late 2022 by Kupperman Companies of New Orleans, Louisiana. The new owners planned to dramatically raise the rent to offset the cost renovating the building and Hill determined that he would have to relocate his business.
