Dr. Kevin Maddox is the principal of Homewood High School, beginning his tenure in the 2008–2009 school year.
In 1992, Maddox earned his bachelor’s degree in Education from Jacksonville State University. He then received his master’s in Educational Administration from the University of Montevallo in 1996 and later also earned his Educational Specialist Degree from Montevallo. Shortly before his promotion to Homewood High principal, he completed his doctorate at Samford University.
In 2007, Maddox was appointed principal of Homewood Middle School. The following year he was appointed principal of Homewood High when previous principal Vic Wilson decided to return to Mountain Brook High School as that school's principal.
