55th Place is a thrift store located at 5 55th Place South in downtown Woodlawn which is supported by the Episcopal Diocese of Alabama.

The store first opened in 1987 under the guidance of Grace Episcopal Church rector Maurice Branscomb, and moved to its current location on October 8, 1989. As a mission of the church, all workers are volunteers and all income is reinvested in community projects in Birmingham.
