Alamo Drafthouse Cinema is a full-service cinema and restaurant chain. It was founded by Tim and Karrie League in Austin, Texas in 1997 and has about 40 locations in the United States. The chain went through Chapter 11 bankruptcy restructuring in 2021.

In February 2022 the chain announced that it would operate a 50,000 square-foot Alamo Drafthouse Birmingham multiplex anchoring the redeveloped Powell Steam Plant in Birmingham's Parkside District. The 9-screen cinema is expected to open in spring 2024.
