The Birmingham Pledge mural is a large-scale painting on the east side of the Birmingham Police Headquarters at 1710 1st Avenue North. The mural's design, which depicts four boys, two white and two black, standing together next to the text of the Birmingham Pledge was the result of a competition won by Minor High School student Michael Richardson. The mural was executed by Patricia Martin and dedicated on September 10, 2000 during Birmingham Pledge Week.
