Black Creek Park, May 2011

Black Creek Park is the largest public park in Fultondale. It is nestled between Black Creek and Decatur Highway along Yarbrough Road. The park features a walking track, two baseball fields, a covered pavilion intended for musical performances, as well as the Fultondale Senior Center.

In 2011, the park received improvements mainly to the lighting and fencing at the baseball fields in order for the park to be used as a venue for adult softball.

A 3.5 mile segment of the Five Mile Creek Greenway passes through the park. It connects to the greenway segment in Gardendale and to the nearby Bark Park and Children's Park.
