Bobby Joe Seales

Bobby Joe Seales (born 1945) is a former auditor, former president of the Shelby County Historical Society and former director of the Shelby County Museum and Archives in Columbiana.

Seales grew up in Alabaster. He graduated from Thompson High School in 1963 and earned his bachelor's degree in mathematics at Alabama College (now the University of Montevallo). He met his wife, the former Diane Brandenberg, while in college. They married on December 6, 1969 and the couple later inherited her family's estate, the Thompson Place, where they raised two sons.
