The Cooper Green Clinic is a planned medical clinic to be operated by the UAB University Healthcare Authority as the centerpiece of Cooper Green Mercy Health Services, on behalf of Jefferson County and its indigent care fund.

The proposed new building, to be constructed on the present site of the Cooper Green Parking Deck on the southwest corner of 14th Street and 6th Avenue South, would enclose approximately 150,000 square feet and cost between $55 million and $65 million. It is anticipated to open in 2025.

In addition to primary care, the clinic will offer behavioral health, pain management and nutritional programs to county residents. As part of the county's indigent care program, patients pay fees based on family size and income.
