Eagle Solar & Light

Eagle Solar & Light is a designer and installer of solar power and battery storage installations. It was founded in 2016 by Sam Yates and has offices at 4005 2nd Avenue South in Forest Park-South Avondale. The company operates across central Alabama as well as parts of Georgia and North Carolina. The company is a member of the Boulder, Colorado-based Amicus Solar Cooperative.

Eagle Solar donated a 1.5 kW rooftop photovoltaic system to the Alabama Environmental Council's Community Recycling & Resource Center near its Avondale headquarters.

In 2020 a group of new investors helped Eagle accelerate its commercial, industrial and utility-scale operations, as well as expand the footprint of its leasing operations.
