Edward (born February 15, 2009 in Springfield, Missouri) is a male Baringo giraffe (Giraffa camelopardalis rothschildi) at the Birmingham Zoo. He was fathered by Stretch at the Dickerson Park Zoo in Springfield, and came to Birmingham's new "Trails of Africa" exhibit on September 8, 2010. After a quarantine period, he joined the zoo's other giraffes, Jalil and Willow, in the savannah area in November.
