Edwards Chevrolet was founded as the Edwards Motor Company in 1916 by William Sterling Edwards, Jr. Its first location was on 21st Street North in downtown Birmingham.
The company remains in business downtown at 1400 3rd Avenue North. Edwards Chevrolet East is located at 5600 Oporto Madrid Boulevard. The company is opening a third location on U.S. Highway 280 across from The Village at Lee Branch.
