Eric Leon Major is a business consultant and member of the Fairfield Board of Education who formerly represented District 55 in the Alabama House of Representatives from 1998 to 2006.

In April 2024 he qualified for the special election to fill the vacancy in Alabama House District 52 left by the resignation of John Rogers.
