Gwendolyn Bell (born c. 1949) is a school counselor at New Hope Christian School and a candidate for the Birmingham Board of Education, District 6 in the 2009 election.
Bell has a bachelor's degree in social science from Miles College and a master's degree in guidance and counseling from Alabama State University. She retired from the Alabama Department of Youth Services and is pursuing a second master's in education administration at Strayer University.
