Harbin Discount Pharmacy is a locally owned and operated, independent pharmacy that has been a Birmingham institution since 1928.

- 5. moved to current location in 1988
- former location in Bruno's grocery store on Lorna Road in Hoover
Owners
- Bob Harbin started the store in 1928
- Jed Vaughn bought the store in the 1960’s
- Al Hurst, Jerry Newman, and Ted Knight owned it from 1972-2000
- Current owners bought it in 2000
