The Homewood Suites Five Points South is a proposed 7-story, $15 million extended stay hotel under development for the former Five Points Music Hall site at 1016 20th Street South. The project would be part of the Homewood Suites motel chain owned by Hilton Hotels & Resorts of McLean, Virginia.

The project was first announced in August 2011 by developer Rakesh Patel of AUM Enterprises in Pelham. Construction is expected to begin in March 2014.

The design by Atlanta, Georgia-based Richard Rauh & Associates included a reconstructed version of the existing building's Art Deco facade as a screen in front of the entrance drive. The nearby Five Points South YMCA would be demolished for parking.
