The Walter J. Howlett Jr Clubhouse is a 25,000-square-foot program center for the A. G. Gaston Boys & Girls Club at 4787 Avenue W, behind the Bill Harris Arena and across from the Five Points West Library at CrossPlex Village at Five Points West. The 4-acre site is leased from the City of Birmingham for a nominal fee.

Groundbreaking for the $7.2 million center was held in December 2018. It opened in February 2020. The facility includes a teen center, a gymnasium, a cafeteria and teaching kitchen, and a performance space.
