Jaye Loggins is the chief of the Mountain Brook Police Department.
Loggins served as interim chief after the retirement of Ted Cook in 2021. He was named Cook's permanent successor on September 27 and sworn in on October 26.
Loggins joined the department in 1996 and completed a bachelor's degree in justice science at UAB in 2001. He is enrolled in a master's program in criminal justice at Jacksonville State University.
