Lakeshore Garden Apartments is a large apartment complex at 1 West Rue Maison off of Old Green Springs Road, nestled in the southeast corner of the Interstate 65 and Lakeshore Parkway intersection.
The apartments pre-date the extension of Lakeshore Drive across the interstate. It is made up of approximately 22 buildings and features a pool and small playground.
On January 9, 2012, a fire broke out in the attic space of building 1205. Firefighters fought the blaze for over an hour. One unit was destroyed and three others damaged, but no one was injured.
