This is an article about the Lakeview area of southside Birmingham. For the town in Tuscaloosa County, see Lake View.
Lakeview is an enterainment district located in southside Birmingham. It was built as a streetcar suburb. It was home to Lakeview Park, site of the first Iron Bowl. Today it is home to Dr Pepper Place and a thriving nightlife centered around 29th Street South and 7th Avenue South.
