Lemak Sports Medicine & Orthopedics is a medical practice founded by orthopedic surgeon Larry Lemak with his sons David and Matthew (the group's CEO).

The practice was formed after the elder Lemak split from his long partnership with fellow surgeon James Andrews. Its main offices are currently located in the Brookwood Medical Plaza at Brookwood Medical Center.

Lemak Sports Medicine launched the Sports Medicine and Athletic Related Trauma Institute to provide training and other services to amateur athletics programs for injury prevention throughout the region.

In 2009 the practice opened a second location on U. S. Highway 31 near Shelby Baptist Medical Center in Alabaster, headed by Michael Patterson. In January 2010 the main practice moved to the Montclair Medical Office Building near Trinity Medical Center, and later that year a second branch office was opened in Gardendale. Headed by Ed Bromberg and Jose Echenique, the Gardendale practice operated from 1413 Thompson Circle until construction of the Gardendale Ambulatory Surgery Center was completed.
