Lemak Sports Medicine & Orthopedics is a medical practice founded by orthopedic surgeon Larry Lemak with his sons David and Matthew (the group's CEO).

The practice was formed after the elder Lemak split from his long partnership with fellow surgeon James Andrews. Its main offices are located in the Brookwood Medical Plaza at Brookwood Medical Center.

Lemak Sports Medicine launched the Sports Medicine and Athletic Related Trauma Institute to provide training and other services to amateur athletics programs for injury prevention throughout the region.

In 2009 the practice opened a second location on U. S. Highway 31 near Shelby Baptist Medical Center in Alabaster, headed by Michael Patterson.
