Lou's Bakery is a cake and pie shop located an 844 U. S. Highway 31 South in Alabaster. The Alabaster location was opened in February 2008 by Greensboro native Louira Hambright after she moved the bakery from the Black Belt town, where it had been in business since 1997.

Specialties include caramel, coconut, chocolate, red velvet, rum and pound cakes, as well as pecan, chocolate, lemon, coconut and sweet-potato pies. Hambright's cakes and pies have also been available at the Pepper Place Holiday Market.
