Maynard (born c. 1987; died June 2, 2005 in Birmingham) was a male African lion (Panthera leo) residing at the Birmingham Zoo starting in 1988. He was euthanized in 2005, leaving his companion Sheba.

He was buried at an animal cemetery on zoo property.
