(If I make a category for "Mountain Brook Stores" it will be confusing. Maybe I'll find a better name than the one used in Blue Diamond Mortar Co.'s ads)

The Mountain Brook Stores is a commercial building located at 2724–2730 Cahaba Road in Mountain Brook Village. The stores were developed by the Jemison Company to promote commercial activity and stimulate the sale of residential lots in their planned suburb of Mountain Brook.

The building was designed by Charles McCauley in an English tudor style, similar to the Mountain Brook Estates building opposite the village circle. It creates the appearance of two small one-story buildings flanking a two-story corner structure. The building was constructed by L. E. Ford.
