The Night Flight Big Band (NFBB) is a jazz orchestra based in Birmingham, Alabama. The group, founded and directed by trumpeter/arranger Mart Avant, performs every 1st and 3rd Wednesday night at Ona's Music Room in Birmingham. The group recently recorded its first CD release, titled "SuperBlue - Eric Essix and the Night Flight Big Band".

The NFBB was featured on the Oasis Stage at City Stages in 2007. Notable members of this group include Gary Wheat, Robert Dickson, Sonny Harris, Bo Berry, Steve Ramos and Ray Reach.
