Scott Register (born April 21, 1969) is a music business consultant and host of Reg's Coffee House.
Register's weekly music show has showcased many up and coming acts in the "adult album alternative" format. The program originated on WRAX-FM in 1997, and the first record played was Ani Difranco's "Worthy".
Reg's Coffee House moved to WWMM-FM in 2008. Register was instrumental in convincing the station's owners that Birmingham was ready for the "adult album alternative" format. Despite its popularity, the station switched to news-talk in 2010. Register brought the program back on "The Mountain", an internet radio station, later that year. It became an anchor for Birmingham Mountain Radio when it transitioned to broadcasting over the air at FM 107.3. Aside from his on-air duties, Register has also worked for the Birmingham-based Coalition of Independent Music Stores and as an A&R consultant for The Artist Organization (TAO).
