Southern Water Company (SWC) is a company founded in 2000 by Glenn Herrin to buy and manage small municipal waterworks and wastewater treatment systems. It currently owns several water wells and contracts with municipalities for administrative services and regulatory compliance. It also markets a brand of bottled water through the Red Mountain Beverage Company.

SWC was briefly partnered with Azurix North America, a failed division of the Enron Corporation which was sold to American Water Works in August 2001. The company has also worked with Daryl Harms, a Birmingham businessman and founder of "garbage to gas" company Masada Oxynol now run by Donald Watkins, to help locate cities with wastewater and garbage needs. In 2006 ownership of the company was transferred from Longview Investment Company to Linearstone Holding Corporation, both of which are controlled by Herrin.
