Substrate Radio is a full-time internet radio station based in Birmingham.

It was launched on January 1, 2013 by Jason Hamric at a studio space at 1 55th Place South in Woodlawn. With the motto, "none of the hits, all of the time", the station follows an indie/college format with a smattering of specialty programs during the week.

Substrate Radio relocated its studios to 2700 2nd Avenue South in Pepper Place in February 2014.
