The AHSAA Super Six Championships are the annual football championships for all six classes of the Alabama High School Athletics Association. The 6 championship games are played during one weekend at Legion Field.

2006

Prattville High School celebrates winning the 6A championship
  • Class 1A: Sweet Water High School (13-1) defeated Cedar Bluff High School (13-2) by a score of 48 to 0.
Dominic Holt scored on three short runs and Antonio Landrum caught two TD passes in the 2nd quarter and ran in another in the 3rd to power Sweet Water in the shutout.
  • Class 2A: Leroy High School (13-2) defeated Woodland High School (12-3) by a score of 12 to 7.
Trae Brown completed a 64 yard drive with an 11 yard pass to Brandon Nunn to open scoring in the 2nd quarter. Leroy got on the board with a 76-yard fumble return. Rusher Ronald Bracy added another 6 with a 6 yard run to cap a 75 yard drive in the 3rd. Leroy's defense picked off three passes late to seal the victory.
James Jackson had a 21 yard rush, a 46 yard reception, and a 46 yard interception return to lead Pike County. Darrell Reynolds scored on a 5 yard run and kicked a 26 yard field goal and Kevin Marshall caught one of Tobias Lee's 3 touchdown passes to wrap up the scoring for Pike County.
  • Class 4A: Guntersville High School (14-1) defeated Thomasville High School (13-2) by a score of 28 to 27.
Chaz Rogers three three touchdowns to three different receivers, but Josh Gunther's 2-yard run with 5:50 remaining gave Guntersville the narrow victory. All of Thomasville's points came from the rushing game as James White scored twice in the first half and Alex Buford and Jake Overstreet found the end zone in the second.
  • Class 5A: Athens High School (12-3) defeated Eufala High School (14-1) by a score of 10 to 7.
Karlos Jones' 3 yard run capped off a 74 yard drive in the 1st quarter, which was answered by a 91 yard drive by Eufala, with Xavier Crews punching it in from the 5. Matt Jackson's 23 yard field goal at the end of the half gave Athen's the lead and wrapped up the scoring.
  • Class 6A: Prattville High School (15-0) defeated Hoover High School (13-2) by a score of 35 to 21.
Justin Albert scored three touchdowns, one on a 64 yard run, to lead Prattville. Zach Brownell opened the scoring on an 11-yard return of a blocked punt, and Dekendrick Moncrief caught a 7-yard pass from Larry Smith at the end of the 1st half to round out the winning score. For Hoover, Ross Wilson scored on a 7 yard keeper and Dennis King found the end zone twice, once with 32 seconds left to narrow the margin.

2005

  • Class 1A: Brantley High School (13-2) defeated Addison High School (14-1) by a score of 21 to 12.
Brantley took an early 12-0 lead on a 75 yard James Pittman run and a 24 yard Shane Corley reception from QB Edger Walker. Addison held them scoreless through the second half, with Caleb Parker catching a 4 yard Jake Gilliand pass and later running it in from 2 yards out. Blake Turner caught the last TD with 10:00 remaining to provide the final score.
Lanell Wilson rushed for two touchdowns, one an 89 yard kickoff return to start the second half and Chase Horn threw two more scores to Ross Cotney. Win Knight made a 20-yard field goal in the 2nd quarter to cap off the shutout.
  • Class 3A: Pike County High School (15-0) defeated Cherokee County High School (13-2) by a score of 10 to 6.
Pike County's defense controlled the game, holding Cherokee to one touchdown, a 25 yard pass from Zach Morgan to Damion Chambers and scoring all 10 of Pike's points on a 2nd quarter safety and 4th quarter interception return of 70 yards by Tim Isaac.
  • Class 4A: UMS-Wright High School (15-0) defeated Deshler High School (12-3) by a score of 42 to 16.
Michael Scoot threw three TD passes and Rashod Bumpers rushed for two to lead UMS-Wright to victory. Raphael Hogan had a 54 yard run from scrimmage and a 55 yard fumble recovery for Deshler.
Steve Freeman had four rushing touchdowns for Homewood and Austin Hubbard threw for two to lead the Patriot's offensive showcase. Blake East threw for both of Buckhorn's scores in the loss.
Ross Wilson ran for two scores and threw for two more to lead Hoover. Meanwhile the Bucs defense blocked recovered two blocked punts in the end zone to pile up a 35-0 halftime score. Daphne score twice in the third quarter on a 70 yard Phillip Hardy run and a 22 yard pass form Chris Lambeth to Riche Henderson, but Hoover stayed with them with two touchdowns in 20 seconds in the 4th quarter.

2004

The 2004 Super Six was played at the Hoover Metropolitan Stadium.

  • Class 1A: Sweet Water High School (13-2) defeated R. A. Hubbard High School (14-1) by a score of 35 to 7.
Anthony Landrum led the Bulldogs with four rushing scores.
  • Class 2A: Woodland High School vs. Leroy High School
  • Class 3A: Oneonta High School (15-0) defeated Winfield High School (14-1) by a score of 28 to 21.
Miguel Hurtado had three rushing TDs for the Redskins, two in the final quarter of the comeback win.
  • Class 4A: Demopolis High School defeated Deshler High School (14-1) by a score of 35 to 21.
Devin Goodwin accounted for 29 of the Tigers' points as he threw four touchdowns and kicked 5 extra points.
  • Class 5A: Homewood High School (14-1) defeated Russellville High School (13-2) by a score of 35 to 21.
Austin Hubbard scored three TDs on the ground and threw a 74-yard strike to Tim Hawthorne to lead the Patriots.
  • Class 6A: Hoover High School (15-0) defeated Prattville High School (13-1) by a score of 22 to 7.
Jared Bryant threw a 69 yard pass to Mason Dueitt and capped a 55-yard drive with a 1 yard run to lead Hoover.

2003

  • Class 1A: Parrish High School defeated American Christian High School by a score of 20 to 17.
Tony Dixon scored twice in the 4th quarter to lead Parrish's comeback win.
  • Class 2A: Randolph County High School defeated Luverne High School by a score of 21 to 14.
Ezekiel Knight returned a punt 77 yards and rushed from 31 yards out to lead Randolph County.
Chris Nickson had three rushes and an interception return for Pike County.
  • Class 4A: Trinity Presbyterian High School defeated Dreshler High School by a score of 24 to 14.
Tommy Trott caught two touchdown passes from Rory McKean to lead Trinity in the win.
After an 83 yard run by Russellville's Mauri McCullough, Briarwood took over the game, starting with a 10 yard run by Simeon Castille.
John Parker Wilson led Hoover with two touchdown passes.
