  • The Weld references redirect to https://medicallymindedcbd.com/www-weldbham-com-gets-acquired-by-cbd-products-firm-medicallymindedcbd-com/ -- Jazzi (talk) 8:24, 7 December 2020‎ (PST)
    • Thanks for catching that. I'd hate for the site to get back into the business of selling drugs. --Dystopos (talk) 10:19, 7 December 2020 (PST)
      • I did find a partial copy of one article on someone's blog: https://womenborntranssexual.com/2012/08/04/transgender-warrior-the-story-of-birminghams-jody-suzanne-ford/ Not sure if you feel it is good enough to use as a reference, however. --Jazzi (talk)
        • I think we'll just use the Weld reference without a link. If someone needs it they can undertake their own search. --Dystopos (talk) 15:03, 7 December 2020 (PST)
          • Is Weld still around? Wonder if they know about the hack.--Jazzi (talk) 15:29, 7 December 2020 (PST)
            • No. They closed down in 2017. (See Weld). --Dystopos (talk) 06:48, 8 December 2020 (PST)
          • There's always the option of linking to the Internet Archive's copy of the page. I believe Wikipedia has a template for doing that which we might could steal borrow. --Lkseitz (talk) 07:15, 8 December 2020 (PST)
          • If you let me know what template to use, I know how to find stuff in IA and will post it.--Jazzi (talk) 07:20, 8 December 2020 (PST)
  • Dystopos, I'm guessing there are other Weld references in Bham Wiki with the same problem. Do you have the ability to globally find them? I offer to help fix (with deletion OR replacement with IA). --Jazzi (talk) 07:23, 8 December 2020 (PST)
    • Yesterday I did a google search for "Weld in Birmingham" with "site:Bhamwiki.com" and removed all the links I found. I'm satisfied that providing the text citation fulfills our duty to provide a reference, but I have no objection to using links to the Wayback Machine where anyone feels it is useful. --Dystopos (talk) 09:46, 8 December 2020 (PST)
