Commission President?

The Mayor Larry Langford Rooftop Smoking Deck

  • Any reason we shouldn't include a reference to the smoking deck that Langford had added to his office, at an expense of over $12,000? See Kyle Whitmire's report on it. I was thinking we should do an article on it... --Wheresdib 09:08, 27 February 2008 (PST)
  • I'm not sure it needs a whole article. A couple of sentences on renovations of the Mayor's office suite at City Hall should suffice. I know that the smoking deck was only part of it, there was also something like $70,000 for carpet, flooring and paint. [1] --Dystopos 09:35, 27 February 2008 (PST)

I'm thinking we'll want to break out a separate article on Langford as mayor of Birmingham. --Dystopos 15:46, 22 November 2008 (PST)

High School Graduation

How did Langford manage to graduate from high school in January? --Lkseitz 08:20, 26 April 2012 (PDT)

  • I don't have a good picture of the history of high school matriculation, but I know some of the old Phillips and Woodlawn yearbooks show more than one group of graduates in a calendar year. --Dystopos 09:53, 26 April 2012 (PDT)
