Terry Greer (born c. 1958 in Elizabethtown, Tennessee) is a Methodist minister and accused murderer.

Greer served nine years in the U. S. Army and worked on the deputy commanding general's staff at Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville. He graduated from Northeast State College in Powell, DeKalb County and earned a bachelor of arts in religion at Athens State University. He went on to complete a Master of Divinity at Emory University's Candler School of Theology and a Doctor of Ministry from Drew University in Madison, New Jersey.

Greer began serving as a minister in the North Alabama Conference of the Methodist Church in 1980 and led numerous congregations as a student and associate pastor. He served as Denman Minister of Evangelism at First Methodist Church of Birmingham. In 1997 he was appointed Senior Pastor for Central United Methodist Church in Gadsden. In 2004 he was appointed to lead the First United Methodist Church of Decatur and came to Gardendale Mt Vernon United Methodist Church in June 2012.

In October 2012, Greer suffered head trauma when he lost control of his car attempting to drive himself to the hospital with chest pains. He was placed on leave from the pulpit during his recovery. On January 10, 2013, according to his daughter's account, he attacked her and her mother with a handgun at their parsonage on Country Meadow Drive in Gardendale. She wrestled the gun from him and fled to a neighbor's house to call police. Meanwhile he attempted to kill himself by repeatedly stabbing himself in the neck and chest with a kitchen knife. All three family members were taken to UAB Hospital, and Lisa Greer was pronounced dead early the next morning.
