UAB Stadium is a proposed 25,000 to 30,000-seat horseshoe-shaped football stadium to be located between 4th and 6th Avenue South, west of 12th Street and backing up to I-65 on the UAB Campus.

The stadium would replace Legion Field as the home of the UAB Blazers football team. A proposed "Long Range Vision" for the campus drawn by KPS Group shows the field oriented north-south, slightly diagonal to the city grid, with its open end zone facing north into the corner of 4th Avenue South and 12th Street. Surface parking lots are indicated at the former Trinity Steel site west of the interstate, with new service roads paralleling the interstate right-of-way.

The proposal was made as part of an update to the "Long Range Vision" for the campus master plan approved by the University of Alabama System's Board of Trustees in February 2011. No schedule has been set for construction.
