Union State Bank is a 15-branch community bank headquartered in Pell City in St Clair County. It currently serves the Birmingham area with six full-service offices. Originally chartered in 1903 as The Bank of St. Clair County, in 1910 a national charter was received and the bank was renamed The First National Bank of Pell City. In 1918 the name was changed to Union State Bank.
