Walter Wilson (born c. 1970) is a public works employee for the City of Birmingham and a Birmingham City Schools substitute teacher.

Wilson is a graduate of Victory Christian Academy and a former president of the East Brownsville neighborhood's advisory board. He has been a substitute teacher and volunteer assistant football coach in Birmingham schools.

Wilson was also an unsuccessful candidate for Birmingham City Council District 7 in the 2009 Birmingham City Council election. As a City Council candidate he pledged to represent District 7 and work to reduce crime and revitalize neighborhoods.
