Howton's Café is a casual dining restaurant located at Howton's Camp on the banks of the Black Warrior River near channel mile marker 386 at Bankhead Lake. Ground access is by Pine Ridge Road off of Taylor's Ferry Road.

The Café was founded in 1968 mainly to serve boaters. It was purchased in 2005 by Culinard graduate Heather Ingle and her husband, Billy. They renovated the kitchen and dining room and upgraded the menu from burgers and fries to include fresh-made sandwiches and salads, home-made breakfasts, and chocolate pecan pie. The lime-cilantro-apricot based house dressing is a favorite of repeat customers.
