McCorquodale Transfer

McCorquodale Transfer Inc. is a specialty moving, storage and transportation company founded in 1995 by Bart McCorquodale. The company is headquartered at 2714 2nd Avenue North in Birmingham's Central City neighborhood. It also has offices in Huntsville, Jackson, Mobile, Montgomery and Tuscaloosa; as well as Charleston, South Carolina; Jackson, Mississippi; and Monroe, Louisiana. In 2022 it was ranked among the cities largest private companies with $11 million in revenues and 40 local employees.

McCorquodale Transfer specializes in receiving and delivering furniture and antiques for interior design clients. In 2023 the company received a capital investment from Carousel Capital of Charlotte, North Carolina.
