Shades Cahaba Office Building
The building was designed by KPS Group and constructed by Bill Harbert International. It was completed in August 2009. The building is the headquarters of ServisFirst Bank. Other tenants include the Capital Strategies Group and Baddley & Mauro.
In 2015 ServisFirst bought a 4.5 acre lot on Woodcrest Place in Homewood and notified the city of preliminary plans to relocate to a new building, but kept open the option of remaining in place or relocating elsewhere, even out of state.
In early 2016 Oakworth Capital Bank purchased the Shades Cahaba Office Building for $14 million with the intention of moving its offices there. ServisFirst still had four years remaining on its lease at the time, and had not clarified its plans for relocating to the public.
