Denman Hall was a 10-story, 68,840 square-foot student apartment building on the UAB Campus at 1604 9th Avenue South.
The building project was announced in March 1972, and was proposed to have 100 units with a total project cost of $1.6 million. The cost was offset by an interest subsidy from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. The concrete-framed structure with brick infill was designed by Henry Sprott Long & Associates and constructed by Brasfield & Gorrie. Denman Hall opened in fall 1973.
