Filter Coffee Parlor is a planned coffee shop owned by James Little and Jill Marlar. It is expected to open in late 2018 in the Munger Building at 1927 11th Avenue South, a space which housed a Starbucks coffee house from 2001 to 2017.

Filter will feature Alabama coffee roasters as well as a several food options. Little and Marlar anticipate hosting storytellers, musicians, artists and community groups.
