Rogue Tavern was a restaurant, bar and party room located at 2312 2nd Avenue North. The tavern, which opened in May 2009 featured "upscale bar food". Lunch and afternoon patrons could watch any of several large-screen televisions. The generously-sized stage and high-end digital sound system was designed to support national touring acts.
The business was founded by Jeremy Hackney and Wayne Herring with guitarist Rick Carter as entertainment director. Herring sold his share of the business back to Hackney in June 2011.
By 2014 Travis McGriff had joined Hackney as a co-owner, and before the end of that year sold the business to Bobby Lorino and Pat Sanford. David Jeswald replaced Carter as booking manager.
By 2017 Travis McGriff had rejoined Lorino and Sanford as a partner, and then became sole owner in 2018. He expanded the business by opening a new event center, Massie's on 2nd in the former Das Haus next door.
Rogue Tavern closed in May 2019.
