Warren Averett LLC (formerly Warren Averett Kimbrough & Marino LLC) is Birmingham's largest privately-owned certified public accounting firm. The firm employs more than 800 people at 15 offices in four states and in the Cayman Islands. Its headquarters office is located at 2500 Acton Road.

The company was founded in 1972 as Pearce & Summerford PC. Jim Warren joined as a partner in 1976 and was named managing partner in 1980.

Warren Averett acquired James A. Stroud & Associates in 1988, Powell & Company in 1993, and Burton, Canaday, Moore & Carr in 1995. It acquired the Birmingham office of Joseph Decosino & Co. in 1998 and Lapidus, Tuck & Raymond in 1999.

Warren Averett acquired Goodgame Burleson and Kirkland & Co. in 2004, and then picked up the banking practice of Schauer Taylor PC, in June 2008.
