Wintzell's Oyster House is a chain of seafood restaurants based in Mobile. The original Wintzell's opened in 1938. The chain is currently owned by Bob and Buffy Donlon, who purchased the original downtown Mobile location and proceeded to open more locations, with 5 additional in Mobile and Baldwin Counties, as well as in Greenville, Guntersville, Huntsville, Montgomery, and Tuscaloosa, which reloacted in 2014 from Northport, where it had opened in the former Steamers location in 2009. A location in Trussville is planned with an expected opening date in 2015. A franchisee also has a location in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
